What to Expect from ICARUS
Missions and permanent peace are different
Expeditions offer specific tasks and time constraints; open peace allows for longer development of one settlement, and outposts offer safer environments.
A storm can ruin plans.
Toxic atmospheres, predators and forest fires require supplies and shelter. Preparation of the path affects the result as much as direct collisions.
Development in surface and orbit
Spare your recipes and your talents, and exchange valuable materials in the orbital workshop, so that new expeditions receive other start-up equipment.
The classes can be divided into groups
Skills include building, hunting, farming and research, a single player combining these tasks and a cooperative can distribute them.
