Three perspectives reveal a common conflict
The story changes between Kara, Connor, and Marcus, and their circumstances and goals differ, so one conflict looks different.
Reclamations and actions change further scenes
Choice affects relationships and events, and it's a story with alternative outcomes where the solution is more important at a time than the accumulation of military equipment.
The death of a character doesn't always stop a story.
Events can continue with the loss of a hero. A repeat passage can test another path, but in the first attempt, you have to accept the result of your actions.
